Nina is a native Texan who moved to Wheeling, WV in 2005, after finishing a degree in architecture at the University of Oklahoma. She came to Wheeling to begin her career in architecture at a local firm Schamu, Machowski, Greco Architects. Her employment and life in Wheeling allowed her to pursue many interests including being an advocate for green building, and an active participant in this community. Since her arrival, Nina has realized a transformation – growing from a tentative intern into a confident, licensed architect.
Since 2010 Nina has worked for herself directly with clients and as a consultant to other architects and to contractors. Her more than six years of experience give her a strong skill designing, modeling drafting and detailing commercial, residential, and institutional projects including renovations, additions, and new construction here in the Ohio Valley. In the spring of 2009, she completed the design and construction documents for St. Michael’s Angelus Center, a multi-purpose facility serving a Catholic parish church and the associated elementary school and the following spring she completed the documents for offices and a fitness center at Eastern Gateway Community College.
